NYC Added Sugar & Sodium warnings
Health Code § 81.49 & Admin Code § 17-199.18
Applies to chain food establishments with 15+ locations. Requires menus and tags to show the warning icon for added sugars exceeding 50g, and the sodium warning icon (salt shaker in triangle) for items exceeding 2,300mg.
NYS Polystyrene Foam Ban
Takeout & Storage Restrictions
Prohibits all food service establishments from distributing, selling, or offering expanded polystyrene foam food containers, cups, and loose fill packaging statewide.
